Ezra Tucker

Ezra Tucker

Ezra Tucker is an artist known internationally for his dramatic portrayal of iconic wildlife. The emotion and technical mastery of Mr. Tucker’s work defines a lifetime of accumulated knowledge. As a painter and zoologist, animals are Ezra’s life passion. “The focus of my work is to excite and engage people into developing a visceral understanding of the vital importance animals play in our living planet,” states Ezra. The bold yet sensitive, seductive stylization of Ezra’s work gives us a rare opportunity to see deep within his subjects and experience the very soul of their being. This metaphysical aspect of Ezra’s work is very important to him. Ezra believes that all life shares a sacred commonality linked by survival.

A few of the numerous Gold Medal and Best of Show awards Ezra has had the honor of receiving include First Place Animal Category Award in the 2013/2014 International ARC Salon Competition, and the 2013 Society of Animal Artists.

Today, Mr. Tucker’s work can be found in museum, corporate and private collections.
