*Wayne Baize

Wayne Baize has loved to draw ever since he can remember.  When he was twelve, his parents gave him art lessons with Sarah McDonald, a friend of Frank Tenny Johnson. As he developed his artistic abilities, he began to realize his dream could materialize – making a living depicting the life of the contemporary cowboy. A native Texan, Baize has been privileged to gather subject matter on historic Texas ranches including the Four Sixes and the 06. His art has received awards and donned the cover of numerous magazines including Western Horseman and The Cattleman. Over the years, galleries and shows from Chicago to Los Angeles have promoted Baize’s work, and given him the opportunity to connect with valued collectors.  As a member of the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America, Wayne has served as president and held other leadership positions in the organization.  Cowboys and western art collectors alike appreciate Baize’s ability to depict horses, livestock, and the western way of life.
