Join the Briscoe Book Club for discussion in an academic and social gathering as we explore great works of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction inspired by the vast and varied experiences of the American West. We will discuss a new book each quarter. Books are available for purchase at the Museum Store.
The Briscoe Book Club is facilitated by Briscoe Western Art Museum Education Department staff and Paivi Hoikkala, PhD (Department of History, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona). Dr. Hoikkala has a history of working in higher education with subjects focused in Native American, Women’s, American, and Western History.
Each meeting will be held at 6:30pm via Zoom – more information on registering to come!
