Ron Ukrainetz

Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Ron Ukrainetz is a lifelong artist. During his thirty-four–plus years as a professional artist, he has garnered awards from numerous shows across the country. He has been featured in magazines such as Western Art Collector, Cowboys & Indians, Fine Art Connoisseur, and most recently, Western Art & Architecture with his wife, Echo. Ron Ukrainetz is a living master in acrylics on engraved clayboard (polychromatic engraving).

He has been listed in the Top 72 “Best of America” by the National Oil and Acrylics Painters’ Society for two consecutive years and the PaintAmerica Top 100 or Top 50 winner for eight consecutive years. He is the first Montanan to be inducted into the Masters Society of PaintAmerica and to be awarded master status in the International Society of Scratchboard Artists.

Ron Ukrainetz has shown at the C.M. Russell Art Auction since 1995, and has participated in that event’s Quick Finish event six times and the Stampede Quick Draw nineteen times. He is a member of Oil Painters of America, PaintAmerica Master’s Circle Society, National Oil and Acrylics Painter’s Society, and American Impressionist Society. He is a founder and past chairman of the Out West Art Foundation and a founder of the Out West Young Masters Art Program.
